Kitchen Adventure

Me and my husband are watching show on tv.  It’s all about food and  how to make a yummy shepard’s pie. Then, I asked my husband if he likes that kind of pie? and he said yes.

So I decided to make my own recipe. I prepared all my ingredients and mixed it all and put in the oven. That time, I’m hoping that looks good and yummy, because this is my first time to make this shepards pie and my own recipe..After a few minutes, I checked my pie in the oven and it looks good and yummy   except  the cheese on top. Maybe next time I will chose  grated   chedar cheese for my pie and I will make sure the taste is perfect.. And put additional ingredients to make more yummy…

Well, my daughter’s loudness when she screamed just gave an idea of her inheriting my grandmother’s beautiful singing voice. And I told my husband the same thing every time he complain about our daughter’s screaming voice.

My grandmother really had a great singing voice. She was a good singer in our church and even to our community. She never get ashamed to sing in front of the crowd and she never said “No” when somebody asked her to sing in a party or any occasions.

If only I had money before to buy her different kinds of instruments, I would have done it. I would to get her magic sing microphones, piano, guitar, fender blues deville 410 Reissue Guitar Amp, Organ, flute and many other instruments that she can have to have a complete musical set of instruments.

I also wished she’s still alive to mentor my daughter. I know she’s a proud grandmother no matter what and I know she’s always with us…watching over us.

I am so lucky to have a sister who live close-by. Close enough that we can simply walk to each other’s house when we need to bring something for one another. Lucky enough to have somebody who can take care of my daughter while I am working. And close enough to share a lot of stuff especially when one of us cook foodies we both love.

And that being said, look at this misua soup in the picture I attached below, oh not only it looks

good, it taste great as well. My sister Irish cooked this and ate it with my princess. And she cooked enough for all of us that I was able to eat my share   when I got off worked. And oh, it was so good…

Oh thank you so much sister dear. You just have no idea how thankful I am to be able to eat good food after I get off work. I know thank you is not enough for all the things you have done for me and for my princess. Hopefully we are able to help you as much as you do for us.

You are such a great cook, a wonderful daughter,  a great Aunt and a great sister.

I can’t believe how time flies so fast. My baby girl is turning 3 this year. She’s growing so fast and I have no way to stop it. That’s why I always make sure to get pictures and videos of her every now and then so we would have something to look at when we misses her when she was little.

One of my plans to get for her on her birthday this coming May is a personalized birthday frames with her favorite TV shows and of course with her name on it. I am so excited to see her expression when she see it on her room. I love it for it’s something that will last forever if she takes care of it.

Biking around is a fun hobby you can do every morning or afternoon especially if you want to relax after stressful day at work. It is also a good exercise for you and your family. One of the best way to bond with your kids too. It’s a lot better than letting your kids sit down in front of the tv or computer.

Anyway, now that weather is getting better here in Texas, I am thinking of purchasing a bike for me and my daughter as we live close by a big park. But before buying it, I decided to search for a roof yakima bike racks carriers that we can install in the roof of our van.

Can’t help but get so excited to start biking with my baby girl when the weather is nice. I am sure my daughter will love it too and maybe would have more fun than I do.

Moving here without my family made Christmas pretty odd this year. I love Austin and my husband of course but it’s hard being away from loved ones this time of year and I often feel like things are so lonely when my husband’s at work and I’m at home. I work from home so I made sure we had clear internet Austin so I could take my laptop all over town with me when I got too stir crazy at the apartment. It’s nice to be able to say that I can get out and about on my own but I sure do miss having my sister just down the street and my mom closer than a phone call away. It won’t be long before my family has to find out that we’re expecting our first childand I know they’re going to be so sad they’re so far away. I know I’m sad that I have to tell them they can only come out and visit and not be here all the time with me!

Once in a while, my husband and I go out and eat as a treat for ourselves. We also do it when we run out of time or don’t feel cooking at home. I am just lucky to have a husband who also eat filipino foods and other asian foods. I myself have learn to eat his food too that’s why we can eat together anywhere we want at the moment.
This plate of food in the picture was the food we ate at Asian Buffet located in our area. They have good variety of foods from appetizers, main course, vegetables, fruits and  other desserts.
